There are tattoos that don’t need much explanation.
When someone comes to me and says, “I want this tattoo in memory of someone I lost,”
I already know that piece is coming from the heart.
Over the years, I’ve tattooed portraits of loved pets, paw prints, dates, subtle symbols…
and each one carries more than just ink. It holds a connection.
A way of saying, “I still carry you with me,”
even if you’re no longer physically here.
Tattooing in memory of someone is almost a ritual for me.
I pour everything into those pieces, because I know it’s not just about how it looks it’s about what it means
to the person wearing it.
I’ve tattooed eyes that were lost too soon. Paws that left prints on hearts.
Flowers that said “thank you,”
and faces that still deserve to shine.
Sometimes, a tattoo isn’t meant to be shown to the world. It’s meant to reconnect you with what was lost
and with what still lives inside you.
